It is important also to note that every Nerf blaster and product has their own unique darts and rounds that are each met with their safety guidelines and regulation.
Each round are designed specifically for certain blasters and it should be mindful also that there are certain darts that are manufactured by other brands not regulated by Hasbro that can be much harder at the tip, thus posing a higher risk of hurting your eyes.
And that is the most important safety measure: your eye safety. Make sure to never aim the blaster at someone’s face, especially in the eyes.
Sometimes a direct hit in the eye can cause severe damage and even pain. Therefore, it is ideal to use protective gear such as goggles that prevent any possible eye injury from occurring. They should also be bought alongside the Nerf gun as part of the holiday gift as well.
